Little Saints began in March of 2020, as COVID was emerging and the world fell into lockdown. At the time I was single, living on my own, and working on the frontlines as a nurse in a rural town in NSW Australia. As the first wave of COVID wreaked havoc around the rest of the world, I lived in a state of fear, waiting for Australia to be next. To distract myself from my anxiety I started reading about the lives of the Saints. Enthralled and inspired by the stories of these people who I learned were not too dissimilar from myself in many ways, I began doodling as I read. I then created an Instagram account to keep track of my little artworks and started writing small biographies about the Saints who inspired me. Thus Little Saints was born. What was a hobby and source of inspiration for myself, soon became something more as others were also learning and being inspired by our Catholic comrades who came before us.

Four years on, I am now married with a family, have published a children’s book, and am sharing stories of the lives of the Saints with tens of thousands of people. What started as a personal source of prayer, God grew into so much more than I could have imagined.
